The married life

My 2 year anniversary is coming up in 2 months. 2 years doesn't seem like a long time, but I have been with Travis much longer then 2 years. We dated for 5 years before we finally got married and have been friends for about 10 years.
For our first anniversary we went to the New Yorker for dinner, so yummy! Then we went home for the traditional wedding cake (and sex) our cake was a Delicious white cake with vanilla bean cream filling and white ganache frosting.
Travis loves cuff links, so I gave him some sterling silver cuff links from Tiffany & Co. he stuck to the traditional anniversary gift of paper. He gave me the Kate spade letter pressed note cards. They are so cute I hate using them!
According to the traditional anniversary gift guide the 2ND year gift is cotton. Any suggestions?

I have started thinking about what we should do for our anniversary. We will be in Newport Beach over the big day, and although I have some favorite restaurants there I want to pick somewhere new. I also want to stick with the tradition of eating our wedding cake so I will have to find a bakery in Newport. If you know of any fabulous restaurants or bakerys let me know!

  1. Cotton suggestion: Ridiculously high thread count sheets?

  2. I should read the WHOLE post before I comment, I guess.

Bakery in Newport? Well, I believe a Sprinkles has opened up in the Costa Mesa area. Check their website.

And in nice restaurant in Newport: I had a really, super nice dinner at The Montage last summer. Look that up on line too. If it's good enough for Kiki and Julie Cooper . . .

  3. I agree with the thread count thing but Kiki and Julie Cooper are both whores and cunts. I don't know how they pull it off but they are equally as shitty as the other.
