I love German Oven Pancakes! I especially love how buttery they are.
German Oven Pancakes
6 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons butter
Whip eggs until thin. Add flour, milk and salt. Mix (I like to use a hand mixer,I think it helps them raise higher) and set aside.
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Place butter in 9x13 glass pan and heat in oven until melted.
pour batter into pan of melted butter. Bake 15-20 minutes.

Oh my goodness. This looks so delish! Do you put anything on them before you eat them?
I am a bit of a plain Jane and like just the butter that's already on them. My family likes them with syrup or powdered sugar though.
These are my favorites. I like to eat mine with sour cream and strawberry jam (preferably homemade)

i love german pancakes. my recipe includes vanilla and cinnamon plus brown sugar sprinkled on top before baking. I highly recommend the brown sugar - it adds a yummy sugary crust on the top.
