DIY Magnetic Felt Fishing Game

I have to share this super easy magnetic felt go fish game that Brody and I made in just a few short minutes. Brody loves it and can't stop playing with it but then again, what kid doesn't love pretend fishing?

I know there are probably a lot of different tutorials out there on how to make a fishing game but here is how we made ours. This no sew game will seriously only take you a few minutes to make.

You will need:
Wooden dowel
Felt
String
Magnets
Hot glue
Scissors
Fish pattern
Googly eyes

Step 1) print and cut out the fish pattern here.

Step 2) Using the fish pattern, cut out felt fish in multiple colors. You will need two pieces for each fish.

Step 3) Using a hot glue gun, glue a magnet to one side of a felt fish

Step 4) Glue the felt fish closed

Step 5) Glue on a googly eye or decorate fish as desired
Step 6) Tie your string securely to one end of the wooden dowel

Step 6) Glue a large magnet to the other end of your string

Brody wanted to play the game on my bed because the blue quilt reminded him of water.
And of course he had to show off the fish he caught!
