Freshly Picked Moccs Review and Giveaway!

A few weeks ago I was sent a pair of Freshly Picked Moccasins to try out. I had heard about their quality and was excited to check it out first hand. I have to say I was very impressed with not only the quality of leather but also the craftsmanship as well! Seriously you guys, these moccasins are amazing!

Most of the time I am so busy chasing after my two girls that I don't even bother with shoes because they almost always just fall off but that is NOT the case with Freshly Picked Moccs. These babies stay on! They are designed with elastic at the opening that keeps them in place. No more losing shoes and no more cold feet because a shoe fell off.

The moccasins run true to size and go all the way up to size 10 so they are not just for babies, big kids can wear them too. I wish I would have had some when my little ones were newborns too.

Okay now that you know how awesome Freshly Picked Moccasins are you can have a chance to win a pair for your own kid!

Twins: 12 Months

The last 12 months have been some of the craziest months of my life. Raising twins can be hard, tiring and a huge adjustment but I wouldn't trade the last 12 months for anything! Sadie and Sammy have brought so much happiness and love into our home and family!

-Sadie can take about 2 steps but keeps trying for more
-She loves to make loud clicking sounds with her mouth
-Likes to shake her head no
-Can drink out of a straw
-Eats anything and everything
-Sadie is always trying to climb on everything

-Sammy can take up to 5 or 6 steps
-She loves clapping
- Can wave buh bye
-Will eat just about anything
-Thinks it's funny to shake her head no

I have to say the one thing that has helped me survive and enjoy this last year is sticking to a strict schedule. I was really scheduled with Brody and even more so with these girls. Life would have been so much harder for me if I didn't have a schedule. I truly believe it has helped keep me stay sane and the girls happier.

You can follow me on Instagram to see more pictures of the girls, Brody and  what I am up to.

Mod Bod

Recently I was sent some shirts from Mod Bod to try out. Mod Bod are some of the best layering shirts I have tried. I love the quality and simplicity of their styles. Have you ordered from Mod Bod before?

Mod Bod shirts are awesome for layering or even to wear as is. They wash up great and really hold their shape. Mod Bod also carries skirts, sweaters, blouses and more. Right now Mod Bod is having a 70% off fall and winter basic colors while supplies last.

I was provided with product for this review although all opinions are my own.

Reading List

The Fault in Our Stars
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

I really loved this book and can't wait to see the movie!

Shaq Attaq
Professional basketball's amazing new superstar shares insights about his first NBA season, including his feelings about the pro game, how it feels to be consistently double- and triple-teamed, and lots more.

Yep, I really read this book. It may not have been very good but I still am a Shaquille fan :)

Just Like Other Daughters
Alicia Richards loved her daughter from her very first breath. Days later, when tests confirmed what Alicia already knew--that Chloe had Down syndrome--she didn't falter. Her ex-husband wanted a child who would grow to be a scholar. For Alicia, it's enough that Chloe just is.
Now twenty-five, Chloe is sweet, funny, and content. Alicia brings her to adult daycare while she teaches at a local college. One day Chloe arrives home thrumming with excitement, and says the words Alicia never anticipated. She has met someone--a young man named Thomas. Within days, Chloe and Thomas, also mentally challenged, declare themselves in love.
Alicia strives to see past her misgivings to the new possibilities opening up for her daughter. Shouldn't Chloe have the same right to love as anyone else? But there is no way to prepare for the relationship unfolding, or for the moments of heartbreak and joy ahead.

I enjoyed reading this book much more than I thought I would.
