Spring Fling: DIY Tissue Paper Flowers

Hello everyone, I'm so excited to be here at Whatever Dee Dee Wants! When Dianna asked me to guest post on her blog for Spring, I couldn't say no! My name is Katelyn & I blog over at Learning Creating Living, where you can find easy & inexpensive diy projects, fun crafts & delicious recipes, I hope you will stop by sometime & say hi! Today I'd like to share with you a simple & easy diy project, just in time for Spring!

For this project I bought a pack of pastel colored tissue paper at the Dollar Tree. I laid out the tissue paper I wanted to use, used a glass & traced the rim to get a circle.

I cut out the circles..

...& then used thumbtacks to poke a hole through the tissue paper to make the center.

For the stem I used twigs I had gathered for another project I used (see here) & pushed the thumbtack in the end of the twig.

After that I put the bouquet in a vase I had bought from Tj Maxx to finish off the look. I love how springy these flowers are & how easy they were to make! I don't think I will be able to look at tissue paper the same again!

Thank you for letting me share this diy project with you & thank you Dianna for letting me hang out on your blog today! You can find me here: Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Bloglovin & Pinterest.
