Disneyland Food You Have to Try Part 5

Ready for another installment of Disneyland food you have to try?

You HAVE to try the Churro Funnel Cake from Hungry Bear Restaurant. It is one of my all time favorite treats at Disneyland. You can thank me later.
Hungry Bear Restaurant will have seasonal funnel cake flavors so this isn't always available.

The Creamy Corn Chowder (served in a bread bowl) from the French Market Restaurant was delicious! Perfect for those colder Disneyland nights.

People always talk about the Mint Juleps at the Mint Julep Bar. They are pretty good and worth trying at least once so I had to include them. Of course if you are like me you would prefer something sweeter, but definitely worth trying.

Disneyland and California Adventure Food to Try part 4

With Disneyland (and all their yummy food) on my mind I decided it was time for another round of Disneyland food you have to try.

The nutty maple fudge found at Pooh Corner in Critter Country, is a tasty treat. It is quite rich so plan to share or save half for later.

The corn dogs in Disneyland are a must eat! They may possibly be one of the best corn dogs I have ever had. Found at the red wagon on Main Street in Disneyland.

Can you really go wrong with pulled pork? Nope. This a great way to get in a quick meal before hitting up your favorite ride. quick service, good flavor, it's a win. Found at California Adventure, Cozy Cone Motel.

Disneyland Food and Treats Part 3

Are you ready for more Disneyland food you have to try?

I have to say that I actually like the Mickey Mouse Marshmallow Wands better than the Tigger Tails, but only for one reason. I am not a fan of dark chocolate (the Tigger Tails stripes are dark chocolate). Found at Pooh Corner in Critter Country.

The Matterhorn Macaroons at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe are a yummy little treat for just under $2.00. How often do you find something to snack on at Disneyland for under $2.00?

Quesadilla Rolls at Cove Bar are pretty dang good! Seriously though, every time I see this picture I want to eat some.

And pretty much anything from Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop is guaranteed to be delicious. Of course I favor anything with Caramel and even just ask for a vanilla caramel shake. Yum!

Disneyland and California Adventure Food

Are you ready for some more delicious food and treats to try while visiting Disneyland and California Adventure?

One of my top 10 things to eat at California Adventure is somewhat new, the Lobster Nachos at Cove Bar. The line is usually pretty long to wait for a table but seriously these nachos are worth the wait! If only we could talk Disney in to making these in a take away container.

They might be a little spicy for some but the good news is, each order is specially made so you can customize your lobster nachos.

These Milk Chocolate Caramel Sticks are dang good! I have been saying for years that Disney has been missing out on not having much of a caramel selection but these have filled that spot. Disney introduced them as part of the 60th anniversary celebration and I really hope they stay. Find them at the Candy Palace on Main Street.

The Blue Monstro Frozen Lemonade is a nice sweet treat on hot days. It isn't my very favorite frozen drink there but it's pretty tasty and worth the try. Found at the Village Haus Restaurant in Fantasy land.

I can't really mention Disneyland treats without talking about the famous Tigger Tails Marshmallow Wands. Brody tried one for the first time last week and went nuts over it. Found at Pooh Corner in Critter Country.

I have a lot more yummy treats and food you need to try at Disneyland and California Adventure. I will post them soon!

Delicious Disneyland Food and Treats

I recently had a chance to go to Disneyland with one of my bestest friends (without our kids). It was awesome! If you haven't gone to Disneyland without kids I suggest you try it, it's a totally different experience.
Disneyland and California Adventure has some seriously good food but they also have some mediocre food. I want to share some of the delicious food and treats we tried.

Monte Cristo Sandwich
Disneyland, Cafe Orleans
This has been a long time favorite of mine. They are quite big and fill you up fast so take my advice and share an order.

Churro Bites
California Adventure, Cozy Cone Motel
These tasty little treats are so easy to just pop in your mouth, they are the perfect treat for wandering around the park. You can also order them with Cinnamon-Spiced Chocolate Sauce.

Hot Beignets
Downtown Disney, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen
You may hear about the Mickey Beignets in Disneyland but skip those (they are good but not great) and head straight to Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen for hot Beignets made from the famous Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans recipe. They come in a paper bag, full of powder sugar. Shake them up and enjoy!

Baked Potato Soup
Disneyland, Carnation Cafe
On a cold evening at Disneyland the Baked Potato Soup is just the thing to warm you up and of course, it taste delicious.

Mediterranean Skewer Platter
California Adventure, Paradise Garden Grill
This was a nice change of pace from all the greasy burgers and fries.

Cheddar Garlic Bagel Twist
Disneyland, Maurice's Treats Snack Cart in Fantasy Faire
Whats better than warm bread? Not much! Loved this snack. Other flavors include Strawberry Twist and Chocolate Twist.

Ramone's "Pear of Dice" Soda
California Adventure, Cozy Cone Motel
I really liked this refreshing drink!
I also liked the Pomegranate Limeade, although the flavor was a little strong and would probably order half with sprite next time.

Lemon Bumblebee Cupcake
Disneyland, Hungry Bear Restaurant
This is a very large cupcake with lemon cream filling and honey lemon frosting. Yum!

Honorable mentions

Grand Californian Hotel, Character Breakfast at Storytellers Cafe
This buffet breakfast has an assortment of  sweet breads, fruit, Mickey waffles, caramel french toast, made to order omelets and more. Just be careful of the characters that hug.

There are definely some things I left off this list that should be on here, I just didn't eat them this trip. I will have to make another trip and post more delicious Disneyland food right?
