I have always loved this idea, by simply placing an envelope in the back of a book you can create more space to collect notes, recipes, keepsakes, etc...
I have done this in the back of my journals ever since I can remember. Its a great place to keep old ticket stubs. love notes or just something you want to keep. I especially like the idea for a cook book.

Back in the olden days of film I did that with my negatives in photo books. I love it because then I can always find them.
