L Is For

is for limeade.

The best limeade I have ever had is limeade slush but its a secret recipe. Ok not so much a secret as I just don't have it with me. Sorry!
This recipe from William Sonoma will have to do.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice (from 12 to 15 limes)
6 to 8 Tbs. superfine sugar
4 1/2 cups cold water
18 fresh mint sprigs
Ice cubes
Directions:
In a large pitcher, combine the lime juice and 6 Tbs. sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the water. In a mortar using a pestle, crush the mint sprigs, then stir into the limeade. Taste and add the remaining 2 Tbs. sugar if desired. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled. Serve over ice. Serves 6.

  2. The only thing I ever craved my whole pregnancy was Limeade. I had never been a huge fan before, but I just couldn't get enough! I'm super jealous you have a top secret recipe since I spent way too much $ going to Arctic Circle everyday to buy their huge Lime Squeeze!
p.s. Give us a belly shot!
