Homemade Books

I have been a little book crazy lately. I promise I won't post anymore books (after this) for at least a week.

I saw these darling homemade books from Lovely Design.

Sharilyn made these cute books to give out as favors at her daughters birthday party.

She even made these darling monogram bags to put the books in.

Make sure to stop buy her blog to get instructions on how to make her homemade books and get a pattern for her monogram goodie bags.

Board Books

I have been dying to make Brody a personalized board book. I really like this one from homemade by Jill.

She got her blank board books from Blank Slate. Blank Slate provides you with a cd containing templates for your book and labels so you can print them and stick them on the page. Easy.

Of course I didn't go the easy route (I probably will next time) Instead I bought my blank board books from Romp. They should be arriving any day now.

I think Jodi's board book is super cute too. She got hers from Romp.

If you don't want to spend the time making your own book you can buy this board book photo album. All you have to do is slide your own pictures in the pockets and you are done.

My First Team Board Book

I just bought Brody his first team board book. I had to go with my family's favorite team (Cardinals) rather then Trav's (cubs). These books are so fun! They have all the information to teach your kid about your favorite baseball team. History, traditions, awards, uniform, equipment, players, etc...

You can also find University books. Sorry they don't have the U of U book yet.

Yudu

I am really wanting a Yudu screen printer. From what I understand it is similar to the Gocco (easy screen printing) but it is bigger. I will probably wait to hear some feedback on it before I rush out and buy one. Plus I still love my Gocco.

Sugar Rush

My mother in law told me about this great cupcakery, Sugar Rush. I have been dyeing to try them out. They have about as many flavors as Baskin Robbins (probably more) plus you can create your own flavors.
