Last week I had the chance to attend the Cupcake Conference Summer social at the Grand America. The Grand America had us set up in the Presidential suite.

We met Grand America's Pastry chef Fernanda Dutra in the pastry kitchen.
She spoke to us about the kitchen and her passion for baking.

Then we got a chance to decorate our own cupcakes for a little competition.
Kelli wasn't happy with her first attempt so she just licked the frosting off and started over.

Back in our room we had cupcakes waiting for us.
They even had gluten free cupcakes for those with Celiac disease.
They also had a fun raffle.
By the end of the night we had eaten our fill of cupcakes.

I have recently read about this cup cake conference.It is really good to see all photographs.I must say that there is nice view from your window and 23rd floor is quite high for me.
So THAT was who won the other Snuggie! :) That was the hot commodity of the night, but I was satisfied with the amount of cupcakes available for the partaking. :) Was fun to see you that night.

I am so bummed that I had to miss it! And I had a ticket too (then in laws came to town and ruined it all). There had better be another one! That courtyard and view look amazing!

I think the fact that makes cupcakes so delicious is not due to its sweetness but the toppings and decorations make it irresistible. I liked all the captures of the cupcake.
