Easter may be a few days away, but there is still time to make one of these sweet little stuffed bunnies for them for Easter. My kids love their stuffed bunnies, even Sadie and Sammy sleep with theirs from last year.
My mother in law is sharing her pattern for the bunnies so you can make your own.

Happy Easter Printable Tags

Hello Whatever DeeDee Wants readers! I'm Holly from Paper Crush (formerly Paisley Petal Events) and I'm excited to be here today as part of Dianna's Spring Fling series! Today I'm sharing some cute Happy Easter tags that actually coordinate with our Spring banner, to use for all of your Easter gift-giving needs. I always like to give little gifts or treats to friends and family for most holidays and these Happy Easter tags are perfect for just about anything! Simply print the PDF on your color printer at home, or download and bring the file to your local office supply store (Office Depot is my personal fave!) and have them print out the tags for you. Cut out the tags with your pretty gold scissors or a paper trimmer, punch a hole in the corner of the tag and attach with coordinating ribbon to your gifts. Use the tags and attach to little candy treats or small gifts.

Easter Envelope Bunny

I remember making these bunny envelope treat pouches in grade school almost every Easter. I loved them! I thought it would be fun for Brody to make some with me so I grabbed some supplies and we got to work. This is such a fun, simple craft to make with kids.

Supplies:
White envelope
White paper
Pink paper
Scissors
Glue
Marker
Pink pom pom
Googly eyes

Step 1. Seal the envelope using the scissors or a letter opener cut a slit at the top of the envelope.

Step 2. Cut out the bunny ears. you can free hand them or use this pattern from Nestle Nesquick.
We used the pattern and traced them on to white and pink paper.

Step 3. Glue the ears on to the envelope with the opening at the top.

Step 4. Glue on googly eyes and a pink pom pom for the nose.

Step 5. Draw the mouth.

Fill with treats and enjoy!

Spring Fling: Easter S'mores

Hello! Sara from the Homespun Hostess here with a quick Easter treat. I have included both the

EASTER S’MORES and the HOPPY EASTER 5” wide bag toppers free so you can create these too. I like to shop the dollar store for treats that can be repackaged. I found these adorable white chocolate bunnies and with just a little green “grass” and a cello bag made it look a little more like a boutique treat. Another fun one is Easter S’mores….because kids like s’mores all year long! We make our s’mores with bunny peeps as our marshmallows and chocolate eggs as our chocolate. They are cute as can be with all the goodness of a classic s’more. I hope you enjoy these easy treats for classrooms or the special kids in your life.

Girl's Easter Basket

Since Easter is just around the corner I thought I want to share some ideas of how to fill an Easter basket for a baby girl. Since baby's don't need all that candy I filled it with other fun things!

3) New spring pajamas. I love these Easter pjs from Carter's
4) I am a Bunny book
5)  I filled plastic eggs with sweet bows from Bloomz. I love their headbands!

Spring Fling: Mini Egg Clips

Hi, everybody! I'm so glad to be back at Whatever Dee-Dee Wants. I'm Aimee from The Elephant of Surprise, and I'm here to share the simplest, but also very versatile Easter craft today. 

Do you ever see those adorable little foam stickers at craft stores or Target, and wonder what to do with them? Here's just one simple idea. Remove their backing, add them to mini wood clothespins (found at your local craft store), and clip them to anything and everything you want to give an Eastery vibe.

These foam stickers come in all shapes for the holiday. You can find little chicks, bunnies, you name it. I originally had the idea to make clips like these cutting out my own foam eggs. But then I saw these, and they are just so cute, and cheap. Why bother cutting my own?

Once you have your clips ready, you can use them to attach a tag to a gift, or even hang pictures around your house. Like I said, they are super simple, but I think they are really cute. Thanks for following along!

How to Plant Live Grass for Easter

A few years ago we posted this on my other blog, I Heart Salt Lake and wanted to share it with my regular readers too.

Planting grass is a fun project to do with your kids, they will love watching how fast the grass grows! The process usually takes about two weeks so you will want to plan enough time for it to grow before Easter.

You will need:
Watertight containers, basket liners, ceramics
Potting Soil
Hard Red Winter Wheat. I picked up a pound in the bins at Whole Foods

Step 1) Fill your containers with potting soil. Leave at least 1 inch from top rim.

Step 2) Soak the soil until completely saturated and water puddles on the surface. The wheat will absorb this moisture.

Step 3) Sprinkle a solid layer of wheat on surface of soil. Be generous! It’s fine if your layer is two grains deep, but not much more than that.

*Keep you containers near a water source, the soil must remain moist until all wheat has sprouted. Check a few times a day to be sure. A spray bottle is a handy tool, and will keep the wheat layer from moving about when you water.

* Once the sprouting process is in full swing (3 days) move the containers to a bright sunny location. They don’t need direct sun, just the light if fine.

*Your soil will now only need enough water for growth, so cut back on watering and allow the heavy saturation to be absorbed and water only enough to keep the soil damp throughout the remaining process.

Easter Bunny Bunting Tutorial

It seems like lately I have been doing really simple crafts, crafts that Brody can help me make.
Brody had a ball making this easy little bunny bunting with me. It was so simple all I had to do was help him with the Glue Dots®.

Supplies:
Glue Dots®
Rope or twine
Die cut bunnies
Die cut eggs
Cotton balls

Instructions:
Step 1. cut the rope or twine to desired length
Step 2. make small bows out of ribbon for each bunny
Step 3. place a Glue Dot® on the back of each bow and adhere to each bunny\
Step 4. place a Glue Dot® to each cotton ball and adhere to each bunny
Step 5. use Glue Dots® to stick the bunnies to the rope or twine.
Step 6. hang and enjoy

Spring Fling: Fun & Easy Easter Baskets

I love making Easter baskets. Spring is a great time of year to be crafty! These baskets would also be great as an activity at an Easter party or event - Let the kids decorate their own basket before the big Easter egg hunt!

What you need:

ice cream cups

crepe paper

3/8 in ribbon
Ice cream cups are available here
Crepe paper is available here

First, cut your crepe paper to the desired height. I cut mine 2 inches tall. Use your sewing machine to gather the crepe paper by stitching a straight stitch through the crepe paper. It should naturally gather from the tension of the sewing.

After this, you just glue the crepe paper onto the ice cream cup, and glue on ribbon for detail! A cute, easy and cheap basket - perfect for spring! The basket would also be wonderful as a little favor at any spring party!
