Bubbly Balls

Sippy Cups

I have had the hardest time finding a good sippy cup.
Is there anyone else out there like me, looking for the right one? I have tried a few and thought I would share my thoughts on them.


Nuby Soft Spout Cup
I really would have loved this sippy cup, except the lids are always popping off. I didn't dare put
anything besides water in it. On the bright side, the soft spout makes it easy for a baby to use.


Gerber Graduates Fun Grips Soft Starter
Overall this is a great cup. No spills, easy to hold, easy to clean and it has a soft spout.




Playtex The First Sipster
I like the small size and handles of this sippy cup but you have to sip really hard to get anything out of the spout.

Nuby Straw Sippy Cup

This is by far Brody's favorite sippy cup. It is easy for him to use and it's light weight so he can carry it around with him. The spill proof silicone straw is my favorite part.

It's Just Another Stylin' Sunday

Kitty

As of last Friday Kitty has been in our family for two years.

Happy two years Kitty!

Computer

My computer is finally fixed! I went one whole week with out using a computer, I think I was going through withdrawal.

I have been having problems with my computer. I will be back when it's fixed.

Cookie Mix

Travis and I made a bunch of these cookie mixes for a family party last week.
I got the recipe from Bakerella. The recipe is for cowboy cookies.



Of course we opted for red and green M&Ms for Christmas.



Here is a little hint, if you are planning on making these. Make sure to pack everything in as tight as possible. I used the back side of a small measuring cup.

Brody got to try out his new cords today. You can't tell from the picture but he was rockin' his Sperry Topsiders too.

Baby It's Cold Outside

I love this version of baby it's cold outside from the movie Elf. I mostly just love Zooey Deschanel's voice.



By the way, I like her better as a brunette. What do you think?

I am

Listening to- Citizen Cope, particularly the song bullet and a target. Check it out on the video below.

Reading- I am currently reading The Book of Mormon and Time of My Life.

Watching- Brody enjoy all the Christmas lights. We went to Zoo Lights a few days ago and we had a great time. If you haven't been yet you should go. I loved how playful the big cats were.

Cooking- I am really into cooking with a slow cooker these days. Travis just introduced me to some yummy country style ribs that I can cook in my crock pot. They are easy to make and oh so good!
