Down East Blogger Event

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a blogger's night out at Down East Home.
We had the chance to check out the new goods at Down East, chat with bloggers and eat yummy food from The Corner Bakery, Dream Dinners and Cucina Famiglia.

For those of you that don't know, Down East carries name brand furniture at great prices and has the cutest clothing line, Down East Basics.


Down East sent us home with a fun bag of goodies that included a gift card. I was having such a hard time deciding what I wanted to buy that I decided I needed to come back.
Too many cute things to decide.

I think I walked past this dress 4 or 5 times. I didn't buy it but I still can't stop thinking about it.
I usually don't wear dresses, I am more of a skirt wearing girl.
I can't wait to go shopping at Down East!

Gardner Village

Earlier this week we made our annual visit to Gardner Village.
I always love to see their fun Halloween decorations.

Brody loves keys and wants to carry them with him everywhere.
You can see him carrying them in most pictures.

He had such a good time trying to unlock all the doors.

Brody loved wandering around holding his grandma's hand.


If you live in Utah and haven't been to Gardner Village, you should go!
There are all sorts of events through out October.
Ride to a witch, face painting, the petting zoo, Breakfast with a Witch, a witch scavenger hunt and more.

Bakerella Book Signing

Thursday I went to William Sonoma at Trolley Square to meet Bakerella (Angie Dudley), Salt Lake is just one of the stops on the Cake Pops book tour.

When Angie first arrived she held a little question and answer.
It was quite crowded.

Then we all lined up to get our books signed.
Luckily I was near Tauni in line and got to chat with her.
Bakerella was very sweet in person.
