Yesterday I decided to make a cheesy little shirt for Brody to wear on Father's day. I was so excited about it until I realized my mistake.



I forgot to to flip the words, so it can only be read while looking in the mirror.


Good thing I had more transfer paper so I could make one the right way.

It's Just Another Stylin Sunday

7 Months

Brody turned 7 months old today!
Brody's is really developing his own little personality.
He makes me laugh almost every day.
He is getting quite playful now that he can sit up all by himself.
He loves to play on the floor with all of his toys.
Brody is getting up on his knees and rocking. I wouldn't be surprised if he started crawling soon.
If Brody doesn't like something he grunts, especially if I am trying to feed him green vegetables.
Brody keeps rolling in his sleep and then wakes up screaming. We have to roll up blankets by him to keep him from rolling and waking us up all night long.
He is starting to reach for me when he wants me to hold him.
Brody loves being outside. He is so calm outside and loves to watch the birds and trees.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Last Sunday we went on a hot air balloon ride for my birthday!

Travis got to help set up.

First they laid the basket on its side and laid out the balloon.

Two people had to hold the balloon. Then they put a big fan at the opening and started filling it with air.

The balloons are so big, they had to keep straightening out the balloon as it opened up.

Then they lit the burners to get hot air inside the balloon.

And then we were off.

Trav didn't get too scared (he is scared of heights).

We would go up about 1,000 feet a minute.

We had so much fun!

Everyone should go on a hot air balloon ride.

Reading: Anna Karenina. Yes I am still reading this book. I have less then 300 pages left but its a slow process.
Watching: Recent movies I have watched include Penelope, Boy A, Becoming Jane, Taken, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Valkyrie.
Listening: To The Beatles or just me singing twist and shout to Brody.
Cooking: I am dying to make cornbread and I am sure I will make it before the weekend.
Looking forward to: My four year wedding anniversary. The last few years we have been in Newport during our anniversary. This year I should get us a small white ganache cake to celebrate. That's the kind of cake we had at our wedding, it was the best cake ever!
