Pregnant With Twins: 28 Weeks
I am getting closer to the end of this pregnancy! I can say that because yesterday my doctor had me schedule my c-section. I can't believe how close I am getting.
I feel both nervous and excited. I am excited to meet my two baby girls, for Brody to be a big brother (which he has been so thrilled about) and to watch our family grow. I am nervous because as much as I try and prepare myself, I really have no idea how what to really expect.
My ultrasound showed the babies are doing really well and I am showing no signs of premature labor, which means no official bed red as of right now. Of course my doctor wants me to start to take it really easy and even ordered Travis to do the laundry and vacuuming.
One of the babies weighs 2.3 pounds while the other weighs 2.6 pounds and both are VERY active.
I am starting to have doctor appointments every two weeks now and starting in January I will be taking non-stress tests every week.

Isis Mobile Wallet
Remember when I first told you about the Isis virtual wallet? I have been using Isis for over a month now and can say I still love it!
Using Isis is really so simple. All you have to do is click on the Isis app on your phone, enter your secret pin and tap the phone to pay at any Isis ready merchant. I told you it was simple.
Another cool thing about the Isis mobile wallet is that it comes with an Isis Cash Card that is preloaded with $10 and you can get another $15 free when you make the card reloadable. Who wouldn't want an extra $25 free?
Isis has been busy adding more merchants to the list of those who accept The Isis mobile wallet. I have already put mine to use at Big Apple Pizza, a family favorite. Other favorite's are Tony Caputo's, Emilie Jayne, Cafe Rio, Rite Aid, Granite Bakery, The Store, So Cupcake and much more.
What do you think about the Isis Mobile Phone, will you try it out?
I was contacted by M80 on behalf of AT&T to review the Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and Isis. I was compensated with with a new phone and Isis credit. All opinions are 100% my own.

My Christmas Wish List
White Strips
What is on your Christmas list this year?
If you are looking for a good shaping wax for your hair you might want to try out GKhair WorkIt Wax.
They sent me some to try out. Travis can use it to style his hair and I like to use it to tame flyaways.

Invisalign a New Alternative to Braces
I had braces when I was in junior high, big metal braces. You know the kind, where you get to choose different colored elastics for them each month. Cool right? I mean, who wouldn't want to draw more attention to their braces?
When you have braces you learn how to not draw attention to your mouth. I learned how to not smile so big, my husband who had braces in high school learned how to cover his teeth with his lips when he smiled so his braces wouldn't show.
I have been free of braces for over 17 years and my teeth are starting to move around so I have been thinking about fixing my teeth, but I do not want metal braces, I don't want elastics and metal brackets. I don't want a mouth full of metal. I think the way to go is Invisalign.
If you don't know about Invisalign, it's a new alternative to braces. Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth over time. Invisalign has straightened over 2 million smiles and counting. Check out the advantage of Invisalign over braces for yourself. I hope to convince my husband to get me Invisalign in the new year.
I love that Invisalign can treat crowded teeth, which I have a problem with. I love that you can brush and floss your teeth just like normal. Flossing with braces was so frustrating and hard. I love that I can still whiten my teeth with Invisalign. After getting my braces off I remember seeing spots and discoloration on my teeth. And don't get me started on the canker sores I would get from braces.
Now I want to know, have you used Invisalign? What do you think?
For more information, please visit Invisalign. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

I posted this a few years ago but had to re-post it because it's one of my favorite holiday treats. I love peppermint bark! It's so easy to make and tastes so good!
Check out my step by step instructions on how to make your own peppermint bark.

Line the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Crush candy canes and set aside.
Melt milk chocolate in a double boiler.Guiitard is my favorite brand of chocolate chips.
Stir in peppermint extract.
Poor into 9 x 13 pan and smooth with a spatula.pour 1 /2 the candy canes on top.
Set in refrigerator to cool.
Once the milk chocolate has cooled, melt white chocolate in a double boiler.
poor white chocolate over the milk chocolate and smooth into an even layer with a spatula.poor the remaining candy canes over the white chocolate.

Once the peppermint bark is cool and hard, break into small chunks.Let the bark sit for 10-20 minutes or until it has reached room temperature and serve.
